Acupressure lesson 1: is a natural healing therapy that originated from ancient China and is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the body, known as acupoints, to stimulate the body’s natural healing abilities. These points are located along energy pathways called meridians, through which the body’s vital energy, known as Qi (Chi), flows. By pressing these points using fingers, thumbs, or special tools, acupressure helps improve blood circulation, relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote overall physical and mental well-being. It is commonly used to manage conditions such as headaches, muscle tension, digestive problems, fatigue, and insomnia without the use of medication, making it a safe and holistic approach to maintaining health.
